How to install and configure workflow infrastructure in SharePoint 2013

Workflows are another key area in  SharePoint 2013 where Microsoft has made great investments. In fact, workflow platform is completely new in that it allows creation, usage and deployment of .NET Framework 4.x workflows in a SharePoint 2013 farm. Microsoft has completely redesigned the workflow platform for SharePoint by creating the Windows Azure Workflow Server (WAS) that enables us to completely separate the SharePoint side from the workflow one. Indeed, workflow infrastructure in SharePoint 2013 is completely independent from the SharePoint point of view that consumes and uses workflows through a web services façade.

CloudShare Introduces – Web Access: The Magic Proxy

You love Web Access, and we made it even better!

If you are not familiar with web access let me tell you a little about it.  The Web Access feature allows you to share the web application on your CloudShare Pro virtual machines to anyone without giving them direct access to the virtual machine. The way it works is for all machines that have Web Access enabled we generate a unique URL that does not change. it will look something like this: http://uvoa98dbebf6c.env.cloudshare.com.

CloudShare for the SharePoint Analyst

I have been using CloudShare for about the last year. For those of you that unaware CloudShare allows you to quickly and easily provision a SharePoint farm that is hosted in the cloud and that you have access to. In this article I will go through various options that CloudShare provides and provide my experience with the service as a SharePoint Analyst and some of the advantages that I see.
