CloudShare announces IBM Rational Team Concert Cloud Environment

September 4th, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: Dev / Test | Tags: , , , , , , , , , ,

CloudShare loves making the lives of developers easier.  One way we do it is by making processes so convenient that they become invisible.  In the application life-cycle this means that developers can focus on creating great technology, and managers can have full visibility and change control.  ProPlus provides you the tools needed to start development projects faster and eliminate all thoughts of infrastructure.  On top of that we add collaboration and environment management tools.  How can it get any better!?

It has.  I’m thrilled to announce that ProPlus now features an environment with IBM’s new Rational Team Concert (RTC) Application Life-cycle Management Suite!  This makes it easier than ever for developers to experience RTC 4.0 and  begin working in the Cloud.

Life Analytics

March 9th, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: CloudShare | Tags: , , , , , ,

I was lucky enough to have my co-worker send me this article where Stephen Wolfram provides in-depth analytics of his entire life. Everything from sleeping to eating to phone calls to meetings to emails to collaboration is included. He has literally spent years collecting data on top of data on top of data. It’s definitely worth a read.

None of us is as smart as all of us
–Ken Blanchard

Here at Cloudshare, you hear us talk a lot about sharing and collaboration (see here, here, and here).  That’s because our primary use is pre-production – Application Development, especially on the SharePoint platform, Hands-On Sofware Demos, Corporate Training – these are all situations where various people need various levels of access to the applications, the servers, the network, even the whole development environment.   Read the rest of this entry »

March 6th, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: CloudShare, Demos & POCs, Dev / Test | Tags: , , , , , , ,

Today is Super Tuesday! As images of polling places, hanging chads, and presidential pop art fly through your head, please don’t worry. I promise I’m not going to get on my liberal soapbox this afternoon. I’m not even going to ask you who you’re voting for and how you can be so crazy. That is not the super Tuesday to which I am referring.

The Anti-Social Side of Email and Development

February 22nd, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: CloudShare, Dev / Test, SharePoint | Tags: , , , ,

If you are serious about social business and reducing the technostress on your staff and customers, do yourself a favor and make a commitment to go on an email diet in 2012.

Need a great reason why? How about this:

33,024. UNREAD. EMAILS. My jaw hit the floor in disbelief as the number sunk in. How does one amass that many emails? Sign up for every newsletter on the planet? Play 700 simultaneous games of Words With Friends?

How to share your environment with team members!

December 12th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: CloudShare, SharePoint | Tags: , , , , ,

CloudShare allows not only to share your environment with others as I described in the article “How To use a CloudShare shared environment at least 14 days”, but it also simplifies the process of sharing it in real time with other Team Members through CloudShare “Assign Team Members” functionality available in your environment. And this is really great when talking about Team Work using CloudShare because it allows collaboration and simultaneous work in the same environment to several Team Members in an organization. The process you must follow to assign a team member to your CloudShare environment is quite straight forward:
